ENROL
It's time to start THE adventure
Enrolments are now open, and we warmly welcome families to join our kindergarten community. We provide a nurturing, play-based learning environment where children are supported to grow in confidence, independence, and a love of learning. If you’re considering enrolling your child, we encourage you to submit an waiting list form as soon as possible, as places are limited. Our team is happy to answer any questions and guide you through the process to ensure a smooth and positive start for your child and family.
Dalby Beck Street Kindergarten offers two groups. Both groups attend two days per week during the Queensland school term from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm. Bilbies attend on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Possums attend on Thursdays and Fridays.
To enrol or add your child to our waiting list, simply click the Waiting List Form button below, complete the form online then hit submit. Alternatively, you are welcome to visit the office to complete a paper form.

Waiting List Policy
- Beck Street Kindergarten does not have a sibling policy; please submit a separate form for each child.
- Enrolment offers are made in term three the year before kindy starts.
- Priority is given to children turning four (4) by 30 June in the year of attendance and, in order to promote fair and equitable access to Approved Kindergarten Programs, aren't claiming their access to 15 hours of kindergarten elsewhere.
- Where vacancies exist and no children remain on the waiting list, at the Supervisor's discretion, we may offer additional days to enrolled children or, enrol a child from the next year’s waiting list providing the child has turned 3 years of age. However, we must wait until February in the year of attendance before we can offer places to fee paying children.
- Information about additional needs is requested to assist us with long term planning for successful inclusion of the child with additional needs. The information WILL NOT be used to deny or delay enrolment of the child involved.
what next
Every year, around June/July, we hold a Open Day. Following the Open Day (in the year before attendance), an enrolment offer is sent to families on the waiting list in consecutive order of when the child was placed on the list. You can then accept or decline the offer.
In November we will invite you to attend transition day/s where you and your child can attend kindy for a 90 minute session to assist your child to become familiar with the kindy and their educators.
We also invite families to attend our Orientation Day in January, usually held in the week before Kindy starts from 9 am to 10:30 am. This allows the children to refamilarise themselves with the kindy and educators after the holidays to help ease the transition as well as an opportunity for our teachers to provide the most up to date information regarding your child’s transition to kindy.
